Handwriting experts are called graphologists. These specialists do more than just ascertain the authenticity of a signature or document; they examine things like the pressure, slant, style and size of the script. From this, they claim to be able to tell much about an individual’s personality and emotional state; some even profess to uncover clues to the writer’s health, history even hidden talents! I don’t know about that, but I do think a person’s handwriting is interesting and important. Every signature is unique and impossible to forge perfectly, and really does say something about that person. Remember John Hancock’s autograph and what it said about him when he signed the Declaration of Independence. Read more

Pray Like an Apostle

RIZPAH came into being because of the burden one woman felt for her lost son, a burden that the Lord challenged her to translate into prayer. As the husband of that woman, I have watched this ministry evolve. When I think of RIZPAH, I think of mothers coming together to plead for their lost sons and daughters. In the past few years, much time and energy has been spent learning how to pray for the lost. But truth be told, the women of RIZPAH may pray as much for their found children as for their lost. In Colossians 1:9-14, I think Paul provides guidance on how to pray for the forgiven. Read more
