McDonough, GA - R.I.Z.P.A.H. Group
Paula Shanahan is the leader of the RIZPAH group in McDonough, GA. An Iowa native, Paula arrived in Georgia in 1984. She and her husband, Bob, were stationed there temporarily during his thirteen years with the US Army. They have three children. Kelly was born in Iowa, John in the Canal Zone, and Jamie in Germany. She is a homemaker who was also a homeschool mom for several years.
Paula was raised in the Catholic Church and gave her life to the Lord in 1974. She is now a member of the Assemblies of God at Oak Grove Community Church in McDonough. Her call to intercession came in 1997 while on her first missions trip. The call to pray for a friend’s children came about two years later and has continued into RIZPAH.
Paula began this RIZPAH group in 2009. This group consists of mothers attending different churches who intercede bi-weekly for their children and grandchildren.
